I love beginnings, new life, new ideas, new focus, new energy, and the list goes on and on. At the beginning of each new year, I like to take some time to focus on the old before moving into the new. While 2017 brought many new things I am ready to embrace the newness of a new year.
So what am I looking forward to most. I am looking forward to the new people I will meet in 2018 and the new opportunities God will give me to share His love with those I meet. I want to share with you the Scriptures that have affected my thought process for the new year.
1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your path straight.
