Honoring a Legacy of Faith, Leadership, and Compassion
Scott dedicated his life to serving others through ministry, teaching, mentorship, and leadership. Even through years of profound health challenges, he remained committed to encouraging and equipping others.
Scott battled Hodgkin’s lymphoma twice and later faced neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), a rare autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system.
During the final decade of his life, Evelyn faithfully served as his caregiver. Together, they became passionate advocates for caregiver appreciation, support, and self-care.
His legacy continues through faith, generosity, family, ministry, and compassion for those walking through difficult seasons.
βAnd do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.β
Hebrews 13:16 NIV
Continuing the Mission to Support Caregivers
The Taylors’ book, See Me, Hear Me, Know Me: From the Heart of a Caregiver, has encouraged caregivers by acknowledging both the emotional challenges and the importance of self-care while caring for loved ones.
Today, Evelyn continues sharing this message through speaking engagements, caregiver support groups, churches, hospitals, and women’s conferences.
